Firstly a big thank you for visiting the site which is principally here to serve the patients of the Grasmere Surgery at Leigh, Lancashire in the UK.
The Patients Group consists of patients from all walks of life who on a voluntary basis meet regularly-approximately once every six weeks or so-to discuss the practice and its services from a patients viewpoint. We are tasked with improving the patient pathway whenever possible and ensuring that a line of communication exists from the Patient Participation Group right through to the Wigan Borough Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) thereby giving a real voice to our fellow patients at the very heart of the NHS.
We meet at the premises and have close but professional working relationships with the Medical team and the Practice Managers.
We are a mixed group of patients from many walks of life. "You can be involved as little or as much as you like." We enjoy a relaxed atmosphere yet like to get things done!
We most certainly are a group of patients willing to take your constructive ideas for improvement in service levels forward and can promise a comprehensive approach to getting the message through for the good of all. Please don't hesitate to contact us at any time. We look forward to hearing from you. Better still-Why not come and join one of our meetings?Contact us
